Herb salts are a wonderful addition to any spice cupboard. The salt enhances the flavor of the herbs, while the herbs improve the flavor of food and have many health benefits (plus, if you use herb salt instead of straight salt, you will be adding less sodium overall).
The Red Salt is smokey, rich, and just a bit spicy. It goes well in chilis or any tomato-based dishes, dark meats, fried chicken, or on fries.

Salt keeps virtually forever, but the herbs will lose their potency over time.
