Art by Maya
My name is Maya Rosenberg and art has always been a significant part of my life. For me art is a breath, a way of communication and the heart of life. My main medium nowadays is acrylics. Nature and especially the beautiful landscapes of Canada are a huge source of inspiration for me, and I try to bring through art the peaceful, relaxing and recharging qualities it has. Art is an international language, and no matter which country I was living at, it has always been a great way to express myself, communicate, engage with our communities, inspire and empower people. It can translate clearly and visualize our stories and aspirations. The way I see it, art has a main part in our society as it can bridge above culture differences through sharing a passion for a visual language. It brings so many colours into our life, in and out.

lotusstudio.ca
When I chose the name of the studio, the symbolism of the lotus, which grows from the mud and is surrounded by water but doesn’t get wet, seemed fitting for what people do and are when they spend time here. Lotus Studios is about transformation and connection. Those moments where within our own lives we are ready to shift and integrate a new way of being to lead us into our peaceful heart.
